We recently stayed at the Dawn Star and the cabin itself was pretty decent. The owner provided linens and dishes even plenty of pots and pans and also propane for the grill. They also provided soap for the dishes and laundry soap and dryer sheets which was really nice. What I didn't like was the cabin had so many spiders and spider webs and the ceiling fans didn't look like they'd been cleaned in a long time. The volleyball net was not in a good location in the yard and neither was the fire pit so we weren't able to have a fire at night. We were able to rent the pontoon and take it out for a few hours and that was nice but there really wasn't anything to do around there and nowhere to swim. However, the hot tub was nice and clean.
Great cabin. Had an amazing time with my friends. But the owner came the second day to speak with me since I rented it under my information, instead of being hospitable the first day and showing us the cabin and speaking with us beforehand.
